From port of Esbjerg to the entire world - special constructions in a powerful co-operation

The administration building and workshop facilities of A/S Oilpower Hydraulics are located at the fishing port in Esbjerg. From these premises we manage sales, production, maintenance and repair work to customers worldwide.

The major parts of the products from A/S Oilpower Hydraulics are developed in co-operation between the customers, our competent technicians and skilled craftsmen in the production.

A/S Oilpower Hydraulics is owned by Kjeld V. Christensen, Torben Thomsen, Lars Nielsen and Jacob Thrane. The background for the founding of A/S Oilpower Hydraulics in 1981was the wide-scale sea-fishing from Esbjerg.

Fishing customers and local machine industry companies often needed special solutions. Oilpower’s ingenious technicians and production employees have designed and manufactured countless special constructions over the years. Exactly special solutions and 24-7 service have become the brand of the company.
 

Into the future with off-shore and subsea equipment
 

Today A/S Oilpower Hydraulic mainly solves tasks for other companies within maritime trade – ferries, guard ships and industrial companies.

The field of subsea solutions is a business area with which A/S Oilpower Hydraulics has been occupied right from the beginning and it is an area which is constantly expanding. Oilpower Hydraulics designs, produces and tests hydraulics for equipment for geophysical studies of the seabed/ocean bottom before positioning harbour plants, platforms, windmill base plates etc.
 

Our connection in Greenland …

A/S Oilpower Hydraulics is part owner of Sisak Teknik A/S. The shipyard is situated in Aasiaat (Egedesminde) on the southern side of the Disko Bay in north-western Greenland.

The yard offers service, repair work and re-construction of primarily trade vessels. A couple of times every year employees from A/S Oilpower Hydraulics go to Aasiaat to do hydraulic work for the shipyard.
